NutrientNet, Online Trading Marketplace
The Kalamazoo River Watershed nutrient trading program is a voluntary program developed by the Gun Lake Tribe and funded through an EPA Targeted Watershed Grant. Technical support for the program is provided by World Resources Institute, Keiser & Associates LLC and the Environmental Trading Network.
NutrientNet was created as the online tool to help manage the trading program.
NutrientNet has two components:
Trading Marketplace: For trading nutrient credits.
Calculation Tools: For calculating credits generated by agricultural management practices and activities.
